The Certificate of Final Completion is a crucial document in construction contracts governed by English and Welsh law, marking the formal conclusion of a construction project. It is issued when all works have been completed to the required standard, all defects have been remedied, and any contractual obligations have been fulfilled. This certificate is typically issued after the defects liability period and follows the earlier Certificate of Practical Completion.
