The Apprenticeship Completion Certificate (Ausbildungszeugnis) is a fundamental document in Germany's dual education system, required by law under the Vocational Training Act (Berufsbildungsgesetz - BBiG). It is issued upon successful completion of an apprenticeship program and passing the final examination. The certificate must be provided by the training company and validated by the relevant chamber (such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce or Chamber of Crafts). It includes detailed information about the training period, acquired skills, and examination results.
